DSM-IV available online through O’Kelly Library

The DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) is now available online in its entirety! It can be accessed through the library’s website or from the link above. Instructions for access through the library’s website are below:

1. Go to http://www.wssu.edu/library
2. Click on Databases (Find Articles)
3. Click on “D” under Databases by Title
4. Click the link for DSM-IV

For off campus access the username is your WSSU email prefix (everything except “@wssu.edu”). The password for students is the Banner ID number. For faculty and staff is the same password you use to access your campus email.

New Research Databases in O’Kelly Library

Finally! The library has been cleared to post new research databases to our electronic resources page. The web migration is over and the new university website has been unveiled. The following resources have been added to the collection of C.G. O’Kelly Library.

World Book Online: Are you enrolled in an elementary, middle grades, or secondary education program? Then World Book Online is for you! The resource features interactive modules, state guidelines for education, lesson plan ideas, and much more. Check it out! If you have questions contact us by clicking on the Ask a Librarian link

Mango Language Library: Are you taking a foreign language course? Are about to study abroad and a bit curious about the language of the people you will meet in another country or just want to learn another language to enhance your resume? Then take a look at Mango Languages. Create a free account and track your progress!

HaPI (Health and Psychosocial Instruments): HaPI provides scholarly research on official tests and other research tools. The resource only allows up to 5 users at a time, so if you have questions submit them by clicking on the Ask a Librarian link
